INSPECTION
1, Rotary Valve Cover
Inspect rotary valve cover for warpageSmall deformation can be corrected by surfacing with fine sand paper on surface plateSurface part against oiled sand paper
Deflection must not exceed 0.08 mm (.003 in)Replace shaft as necessary
ASSEMBLY
Assembly is essentially the reverse of disassembly proceduresHowever pay particular attention to the following
8,9, Bearing
Inspect bearingsCheck for scoring, pitting, chipping or other evidence of wearMake sure plastic cage (on bigger bearing) is not meltedRotate them and make sure they turn smoothly
9, Bearing
To install end bearing in crankcase, use the appropriate pusher according to the engineENGINE 717 787 PUSHER PN 290 876 500 PN 290 876 501
