Section 11 HULLBODY (ADJUSTMENT AND REPAIR)
BUMPER REPLACEMENT
1Remove trim no5 from side bumper rail no42Drill pop rivets no12 to remove side bumper rail no43Mark hole positions on body straight and bow sections
SPONSON REPLACEMENT
Remove seat (access cover for the XP model)Remove air vent tube support (SP, SPX, GS, GSI and GSX models)Remove mufflerFrom bilge, unscrew sponsons no6 using 10 mm deep socket with an extensionRemove sponsons no6Clean any residues of sealant adhesive on hullInstall gaskets no7 on new sponsons no6Apply sealant 732 (PN 293 800 006) or sealant adhesive (PN 293 800 033) around sponson studsApply Loctite 242 (blue) on sponson studsInstall sponsons no6 on hullFrom bilge, first insert flat washers no8 over sponson studs, then lock washers no9Secure with lock nuts no10Tighten to Nm (44 lbfin)NOTE: To ease flat washer and lock washer installation, use flexible 4-claw Snap-on pick-up toolRES
