Section 09 STEERING SYSTEM Sub-Section 05 (HX AND XP MODELS)
Open hoodDisconnect throttle cable from carburetor linkagePull out boot from hood and remove throttle cable from boot
Disconnect ball joint no23 of steering cable no9 from jet pump nozzleRemove ball joint no23, boots no24 and no28, nut no25, half rings no26 and O-ring no27 from steering cableRemove steering cable from watercraft
DISASSEMBLY
Disconnect link rod no17 from steering stem arm no15 and lever no10Slide the steering stem arm no15 and support no16 rearward and rotate them 90Remove the M6 25 screws no21 and nuts no22Remove the steering stem arm no15F05L0FA
Loosen bolts no13 and nuts no14 of steering support no122
