Visually inspect impeller splinesCheck for wear or deformationRenew parts if damagedNOTE: Check also PTO flywheel and drive shaft conditionRefer to PROPULSION SYSTEM 08-03Examine impeller in wear ring for distortionCheck if blade tips are blunted round, chipped or brokenSuch impeller is unbalanced and will vibrate and damage wear ring, impeller shaft, shaft seal or bearingsRenew if damaged1
