7,8,9, Crankcase Screw
Apply Loctite 515 on screw threads and synthetic grease below head screwsTorque crankcase screws to 24 Nm (17 lbfft) as per following illustrated sequence-
CAUTION
Rotary valve shaft must be installed in crankcase before closing halvesBefore joining crankcase halves, make sure that crankshaft gear is well engaged with rotary valve shaft gearPosition crankcase halves together and handtighten screws

Temporarily install armature plate to align crankcase halves with each other (except the 787 engine)
