Bearings and seal will be properly installed in housing using bearingseal installer tool (P295 000 107)1

Stamped end of bearings (showing identification markings) must be located toward outside of housingProperly insert bearing on toolUsing an arbor press only, push tool until tool flange contacts housingProceed the same way for both bearings
1Press on tool until it stops
thus providing space for lubrication purposesThe tool flanges allow thisIf different pusher type is being used, components must be properly positioned as followsBearing on impeller side must be 1.5 to 2.5 mm (.060.100 in) inside reservoir measured from seal seatBearing on venturi side must be to mm (.080.120 in) inside reservoir measured from thrust washer seatRefer to following illustration
