17,18, Housing Cover and Screw
With pump assembly in horizontal position, remove retaining screws of housing coverPlace container under cover to catch oilUsing fiber hammer, gently tap cover to release it from impeller housing
20, Wear Ring
Place impeller housing in vise with soft jawsIt is best to clamp housing using lower earCut wear ring at two placesNOTEWear ring can be cut using jigsaw, small grinder or low clearance hacksaw such as Snap-on HS3 or equivalentCAUTIONWhen cutting ring, be careful not to damage impeller housing
19, Impeller
Insert impeller shaft holder (P295 000 082) on impeller shaft flat endUsing screws previously removed from venturi, secure shaft holder to housingHeat impeller center with propane torch to approximately 150C (300F) to break the Loctite bondImpeller is loosened using impeller remover tool (P295 000 001)Install shaft holder in viceInsert special tool in impeller splinesRotate impeller remover tool counterclockwise and unscrew completely impeller
