Check tip for grooved conditionReplace if necessary
PUMP VERIFICATION
Check fuel pump valves operation as followsConnect clean plastic tubing to the inlet nipple and alternately apply pressure and vacuum with the mouthThe inlet valve should release with pressure and hold under vacuumWARNINGSome fuel may be present in fuel pumpBe careful not to swallow fuel when under vacuum;
