Crankcase halves are factory matched and therefore, are not interchangeable or available as single halvesPrior to joining crankcase halves, apply light coat of Loctite 515 on mating surfacesDo not apply in excess as it will spread out inside crankcaseNOTEOn aluminum material it is recommended to use Loctite Primer to reduce curing time and increase gap filling capabilityRefer to manufacturer's instructionsCAUTIONRotary valve shaft must be installed in crankcase before closing halvesBefore joining crankcase halves, make sure that crankshaft gear is well engaged with rotary valve shaft gearPosition crankcase halves together and handtighten screwsCAUTIONTemporarily install armature plate to align crankcase halves with each other (except the 787 engine)
