End play of mpehershaft is checked wtth shaft in housing, ivsthout impeiier ana with housing cover installed Retain nousing sn brass law vise making sure not to damage housing IL-QSei dial gauge and position its -a on ?-I? end c+ snaft Move shaft end by andgDifference between highest and lowest dial gauge reading end play Maximum permissible end play new1 is54 mrn (005021 in)
