The battery charger should have an adjustable charging rate Variable adjustment is preferred, but unit which can be adjusted in small increments is acceptable
INSTALLATION OF BATTERY
WARNINGAlways connect battery cables exactly in the specified order, red positive cable first black negative cable lastProceed as foliowsInstal! battery in its emplacement Secure vent line to the battery Ensure vent Sine is not kinked or obstructed
NOTEOn SPXP series, ensure check valve is not blocked WARNINGVent line must be free and openIf not, it will restrict ventilation and create gas accumulation that could result in an explosionGases given off by battery being charged are highly explosiveAlways clharge in well ventilated areaKeep battery away from cigarettes or open flamesAvoid skin contact with electrolyte
