Seals and bearing can be removed using same suggested tools as for pump unitProperly support seal carrier when removing seals and bearing
INSPECTION
26,43,54, Impeller, PTO Flywheel and Drive Shaft
Visually inspect splines of drive shaft, impeller and PTQ flywheelCheck for wear or dleforrnationRenew any damaged partNOTEIf PTO flywheel splines are very worn, pipe wrench can be used to remove PTO flywheel instead of tool295 000 001)Refer to ENGINE 03-04 then look for PTO flywheel and magneto
CLEANING

: Bailer tube fittings and cooling supply fittinlg can be removed to ease cleaning of impeller housing mating surface
Most silicone can be removed out with scraper such as Snap-on #CS-M2Remlaining silicone can be removed with steel brush (disc) mounted on drill motor Bombardier stripper #I57295 000 040) can be used to remove remaining siliconeCarefully apply on mating surfaces talking care not to extend outside of this area because paint will be damagedLet product dissolve silicone then scrape itProperly clean all threadsDiscard all O-rings and clean parts in solventCarefully check water passages (bailer, cooling system) and oil passagesBlow low pressure compressed air through them and make sure they are not clogged
