Pressurize to maximum of 70 kPa (10 PSI) during 10 minutesIf there is no pressure drop impeller housing does not leakIf there is pressulre drop spray soapy water around housing coverIf bubbles are noticed, replace housing andor housing coverlf there are no bubcover 0-rng bles, impeller shaft, impeller shaft seall, bushing or impeller housing is leaking thlrough porosity and has to be replacedJet pump unit has to be overhauledIf everything is correct, add proper amount of oilTo check oil condition, insert wire through opening then withdrawA whitish oil inldicates water contaminationThis may involve defective impeller shaft seal andlor O-ring of housing coverJet pump unit should be overhauled to repair boot or seal

To replace oil, remove housing coverThoroughly clean reservoir and inside of cover with solventReinstall cover witlh its O-ring and Loctite 515 and remove plug from coverPour approximately 65 mL (2.2 oz) of oil through hole until oil reaches the bottom of hole threads Use SEADO0 JET PUMP SYNTHETIC OIL 293 600 011) onlyOil will penetrate slowly in housing, wait few minutes and readjust oil levelCAUTION :This is synthetic oilDo not mlix with mlineral based oilDo not mix oil brandsProperly reinstallremoved parts
