Section 05 FUEL SYSTEM Sub-Section 03 (CARBURETORS)
Turn fuel valve to OFF positionDisconnect impulse lline from fuel pump Disconnect fuel supply line from fuel pumpDisconnect fuel return line from PTO side carburetorRemove oil injection cable bracket from fuel pump coverRemove four bolts, lock washers from rotary valve cover then move carburetors and rotary valve cover together on top of engineNOTEOil lines from oil pump don't need to be removed and don't disconnect oil injection cable from oil pump lever
PUMP VERIFICATION
Install hose pincher (PN 295 000 076) on fuel supply line close to pump inletDisconnect fuel inlet line
CLEAN IING
The entire carburetor should be cleaned with general solvent and dried with compressed air before disassembty
CAUTIONBe careful at carburetor cleaning not remove paintPaint removal will cause carburetor rust very rapidlyRepaint if necessaryCarburetor body and should be cleaned in carbujets retor cleaner following manufacturer's instructionWARNIINGSolvent with flash point such as gasolline, naphtha, benzol, etc should not be used as they are flammablle and explosiveCAUTIONHeavy duty carburetor cleaner may be harmful the rubber parts, O-ring, etcTherefore, it is recolmmended remove those parts prior cleaningDiscard O-rings, diaphragmsand gaskets
