mark on armature plateIn 'line with this mark, punch another mark on adjacent crankcase lug
2,4,Ignition Housing and Screw
To remove ignition housing, starter has to be removed Refer to ELECTRICAL 07-04 under electric starter for proceduresUnscrew retaining screws, then withdraw housing
CLEANING1
Clean all metal components in solvent
Punch mark on crankcase lug aliened with mark
CAIUTIONClean armature coils and magneto magnets using only clean clothClean crankshaft taper and threads
