Section 03 ENGINE Sub-section 02 (REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION)
Bleed tube removed
Injection hose removed
To prevent excessive oil spillage, use hose pincher (PIN 295 000 0761hose gear
NOTE :The tuned pipe is held on exhaust manifold side by one or two retaining screwsInstall hose pincher on oil pump suppily line then disconnect hoseRemove engine support mount screws
Remove tuned pipe retaining screws from exhaust manifold Remove tuned pipe mounting nuts, slightlly lift it to release nuts as necessaryWithdraw tuned pipe in forward and rotating movementBe careful not to drop gaskets located on exhaust manifoldDisconnect hose on exhaust manifold fittingRemove fasteners taking care not to drop any part then withdraw manifoldIntake and Fuel Systems Loosen clamp of intake silencer hose on carburetor side Pivot intake silencer to rear of watercraft Remove both retaining screws of carburetor support from engine coverRemove screws holding flame arrester cover, then withdraw coverTurn fuel valve to OFF position Disconnect fuel supply line from carburetorDisconnect fuel return line from carburetor Disconnect throttle and choke cables from carburetorRemove screws from flame arrester base then withdraw baseDisconnect impulse linePull out electrical box then open electrical box and disconnect wires coming from magneto housingUnscrew cable cap Slide cap and compression grammet away then pull cable out of electrical box-
