Section FUEL SYSTEM Sub-section 01 (CARBURETORINTAKE SYSTEM)- CAUTION :Water must be suppllied cool engine with flush kit (PN 295 000 038)Turning screw in clockwise leans mixture and inversely turning screw out counterclockwise enriches mixtureTurn low-speed mixture screw so that engine reaches the most suitable idle and runs smoothlyMake sure engine reacts quickly to throttle lever depression
FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURIZATION
WARNING :Whenever doing any type of repair on watercraft or if any components of the fuel system are disconnected, pressure test must be done
Pressure test
Proceed asfollows :
- Open storage compartment cover and remove basketRemove vent hose from tube at adapter-
Idle Speed Sclrew
Connect pump gauge tester295 000to tube adapterand pressurize fuel system to 34 kPa (5 PSI) If no leaks are found, turn fuel valve to "ON" and pressurize once morepressure is not maintained locate leak and repairreplace component leaking
- Turn fuel valve to "OFF"
