Welch Plug, Leak Test
Using suitable pump gauge tester, perform the following test proceeding as follows :
- Hold carburetor upside down-
0 rnm 024 in) higher than chamber floor
Apply oil on wellch plugBilow low-pressure compressed air through low-speed mixture screw hole
- Obstruct corresponding orifice-
To adjust, bend lever very slightly to change its height
CAUTIONadjustiing lever, do not pry it so that it applies piressure on needleThis could damage vallve seat needleBubbles escaping around welch plug indicalte leak Using suitable punch and hammer, reseat plugRecheck for leakHIGH LEVER

then oush taib down
