Crankshaft Alignment
A quick check can be made as follows:Insert finger in each connecting rodMeasuring MAG sidle deflection in crankcase
- Lift crankshaft and apply rotation movement to
crankshaft with fingers
Remove crankshaft bearings and check deflection again on V-shaped blocks as illustrated
A twisted crankshaft will turn irregularly in an out of round motion
