WATER-1FLOODED EINGINE
If engine is water-flooded, it must be serviced within few hours after the eventOtherwise engine will have to be overhaulledTurn fuel valve to "ON" position Press starting button to start engineSome choking may be necessaryIf engine does not start, repeat previous steps as necessaryCAUTION :To avoid starting motor overheating, the cranking period should not exceed 5-10 seconds and rest period of 30 seconds should be observed between cranking cycles let the starter cool down and its mechanism disengageNever depress the starting button when the engine is runningNOTEIf engine does not start after several trys, it is suggested to check ignition system for spark occurence Check crankshaft end seals, hydraulic lock may have pushed them out Consider that center seals may have slipped out tooCheck crankshaft alignment as specified in "BOTTOM END''
