As an alternate method, ignition componentsnbe checked with an ohmmeiertpreferably digital one) Proceeding by elimination, check magneto generating coils then ignition coilIf everything is OK then it is malfunction of ignition moduleDisconnect connectors at ignition module, ignition coil and magneto junctionCheck resistance or continuity between each terminal with high-sensitivity ohmmeterRefer to the following table for values and wire colors
NOTEAn ignition coil with good resistance measurement can still be faulltyVoltage leak can occur at high voltage level which is not detectable with an ohmmeter
