To replace battery charging coil- Heat the armature plate to 150 (300'F) around the screw holes to break the Loctite bond

T install the new coil on the armature plate, remove the shipping nuts from the new coil and apply Loctite 242 (blue, medium strength) to screws before assembly Use magneto coil centering tool290 876 922) and install so that it fits around armature piate before tightening screws
