Inspect connections and clean as necessalry Solenoid switch condition can be checked with an ohmmeter Install test probes on large connectors of solenoidMeasure resistance when current is alpplied to small connectors, +12V on YELLOWRED wire and -12V on BROWN wireIf it is more than few ohms, replace solenoid switch

IMPORTANT: No current must be present on large cables when using ohmmeter, otherwise meter could be damaged

ASSEMBLY
Reverse the order of disassembly to reassemble starter However, attention should be paid to the following operatlons Prior to assembling, coat sliding surfaces on armature shaft splines, overrunning clutch and bushing with Versilube 314 lubricant or equivalent Apply motor oil on metal bushings
