To install rotary valve shaft in crankcase, use Pusher 290 876 6051
Apply Loctite 242 (blue)293 800 002) on screw threads then torque to NlwnlbfminlNipple towards ignition housing
Push shaft untils its stops on bearing seat

When the same crankcase is re-assembled, the first timing method is to be followedHowever since replacement crankcase does not have timing mark (ridge), the second method is required Take note that the second method is more accurate and may be used any timePush shaft until il stops
