Section 03 ENGINE Sub-section (BOTTOM END)
Install bearings so that their peripherical grooves be located as shown in following illustration
Perpherical grooves on inner side
Penphencal grooves on inner side
12,201, Seal
A seal assembly, apply light coat of lithium grease on seal lips
At assembly in cranlkcase, apply Loctite 242 (blue) (PIIN 293 ROO 002) on stud threads
Finalizing Assembly
NOTEIf water inlet socket has been removed from crankcase, re-install it with its nipple pointing towards ignition housing For rotary valve timing and assernblly, refer "ROTARY VALVE 81 RESERVOIR" for procedures If engine support is installed on crankcase before ignition housing, ellectric starter must be installed before engine support
