WARNING: Failure to properly install the steering cable can result in loss of vehicle control possibly causing severe injury or death1Remove seat and front storage compartment2Visually inspect the engine compartmentNote the current routing of the steering cable3Loosen and remove the steering linkage from the steering nozzleDiscard the nylock nut
4Prior to removing the thruhull nut, loosen, but do not remove, the lockplate nutWith the lockplate loose, use an adjustablelocking wrench to remove the thruhull nut
