8Use main cable adjuster nuts to make major adjustmentsAdjuster nuts are located at forward end of cable near steering podOpen front compartment and remove storage tray for access to bottom nutSee Ill39Using two 1116 open end wrenches, hold one nut and loosen the otherLengthen or shorten cable to adjust nozzle centeringTighten cable nuts securely after adjustment is complete10Turn handlebars to left and right through entire steering rangeThe bars should move freely and smoothly without bindingIf resistance or binding is evident check rod end positioning, cable condition, and routing to locate and correct the causeIll3 Use main cable nuts for major adjustments Tighten to 22ft.lbs(30Nm)
