PROPULSION REASSEMBLY PROCEDUREAll Models 1Remove engine mounting nuts that were tightened to verify engine alignmentApply Loctitet 262 to engine mount bolt threadsTorque engine mount nuts to 50 ft.lbs(68 Nm) (Illustration 4) 2Remove Driveshaft Alignment Tool and Driveshaft Alignment Coupler Tool3(NON MSX Models) Grease the spline end of the driveshaft and reinstall into drive couplerVerify bumper is installed in nose of driveshaft4(MSX 140) Obtain the engineside drive couplerApply thin film of Premium Grease, PN 2871322, to the inner threadsHandtighten coupler on to crankshaft5(MSX 140) Insert rubber dampener into engineside drive coupler6(MSX 140) Insert pumpside drive coupler into rubber dampenerApply light film of Premium Grease to inner threads7(MSX 140) Have an assistant insert driveshaft through rear of boatAs driveshaft enters engine compartment, carefully fit bearing carrier on to front of shaft(A light film of grease will aid in installation 50 ft.lbs(68 Nm) Apply Loctitet 262
