PROPULSION Driveshaft AlignmentAll Models
9(MSX 140) Remove the pumpside drive coupler and rubber dampenerUsing pipe wrench or strap wrench, carefully remove the engineside drive coupler(Illustration 3) NOTE: Do not damage the fingers on the drive coupler(Illustration 3)

10(MSX 140) Install the DRIVESHAFT ALIGNMENT COUPLER TOOL, PN PW46592, on the PTO end of the crankshaftHand tighten tool11(NONMSX Models) The drive coupler attached to the engine can be used as the alignment tool12Locate the pump stator assemblyRemove the tail cone from the assemblyDiscard the gasket and oringNOTE: Steps 11, 12, and 13 are only required if you do not have an "extra" Polaris pump stator already setup with bearings availableIf you already have Polaris stator setup to perform alignment checks, proceed with STEP 15
