Install lanyard in stop switch
With lanyard installed, all BLK YEL wires should read O.Lwhen connected to groundCharge battery to 12.5vDCReplace if battery will not hold chargeBattery voltage should never drop below 9.5 vDC while turning engine overReference coil specifications listed on page 4.36Use timing light to verify sparkDC voltage on ALL WHTRED circuits should "step-up" from low voltage to approximately 22 vDC during engine turnoverTest stator 12-pin harness for resistance and cranking AC voltage output specifications listed on page 4.36ALL WHTRED circuits should show approximately 22 vDC just prior to engine start upTest CPS sensorCheck 15A fuel pump fuseVerify continuity on BRN wire from pump to EMM 40-pin connectorUse the DIt software to download any service codes that may be present
Test stop switch and related harnesses for shorts and proper function
Battery at least 9.5 vDC while pressing start button
