ENGINECOOLING SYSTEMS Engine AssemblyAll Engines 1Install PTO oring and spacer onto crankshaftLubricate oring with Polaris Premium Cycle oil
2Install the (2) PTO seals on crankshaftInner seal lip towards bearings, outer seal lip towards threads
3Lay crankshaft assembly in lower case half Ensure that crankshaft rotates smoothlyNOTE: Some engines will be manufactured with crankshafts that feature center guide snap ringAlways verify during assembly the use of snap ring or notNew crankshafts used as service parts will have snap ring installedSimply remove the snap ring from the crankshaft if the engine you are servicing does not have this feature
