9Carefully install each piston assembly into the cylindersTake care in not scratching the cylinder bore10Install the intakeside chain guideTighten fastener to specification11Carefully rotate engine 180_Do not allow the pistons to fall out of cylinders12Select and install the connecting rod, crankshaft main bearings, and balance shaft bearings(Selection is made using bearing selection process described in this chapter 13Coat all bearings and journals with engine oilInstall water pump drive gear into crankcase14Install the chain tensioner guide into the exhaustside of the crankcaseTighten fastener to specificationRING COMPRESSOR
