MAINTENANCE Engine Oil Level Check
NOTE: Always check the oil level with the watercraft level and the engine COLD1Start engine and run for no more than 30 45 seconds2Remove the oil dipstick from the top of the oil storage tankWipe clean with shop towel3Reinsert the dip stick into the oil storage tank, but do not thread into tankRemove the dipstick, and check oil levelThe oil level should be between the MIN and MAX marksThe volume between the MIN and MAX marks is .5 Us Quarts (.5L)The oil level will rise as the engine warms up to operating temperature, but SHOULD NEVER RISE PAST THE OVERFILLED MARKRemove oil from tank if level is above MAX mark after warming engine to operating temperatureWarming the engine up can be accomplished by installing flush kitNever exceed 2000 RPM when connected to flush kitCAUTION: Never allow the oil level to exceed the OVERFILLED OIL LEVEL mark on the top of the dipstickSevere engine damage may occur
