1Set multimeter to ohms position2Unplug start button harnessConnect multimeter leads to switch harnessPress start switchThe reading should be .3 ohms or lessA high resistance reading or O.Lreading indicates faulty switch3Release the start buttonAn O.Lreading should be observedIf low resistance is measured, replace the switchSTOP BUTTONLANYARD
Stop Switch Testing
1Set multimeter to ohms2Unplug stop switch harness connectorConnect one of the multimeter probes to the BLKY pin, the other to the BLK pinPush the stop button or pull the tether from the switchThe reading should be .3 ohms or less3Connect the tether or release the stop buttonAn O.Lreading should be indicatedIf not, replace the switchSTART BUTTON STARTSTOP SWITCH
