HullControl Systems Handlebar CoverSteering Post Removal Steering Post Removal
1Remove handlebar cover fastenersThe grab handle fasteners are located under the coverIf grab handle replacement is required, remove the two fasteners as well2Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle flipper, and the lefthand control wiring harness3Loosen and remove the steering arm clamp retaining bolt from the bottom of the steering postRemove the clamp, shim(s) and tapered bushing from the post4Carefully pull the steering post assembly up and out of the steering housingNOTE: The steering cable rodend can remain connected to the steering clampIf the rodend is removed, discard the Nylok nut
