Fuel Injection System FICHT Troubleshooting"ENGINE DIESLOSES POWERNO TOP END" Inspect engine compartment for exhaust leaksInspect water injection solenoid(Virage only) Inspect exhaust cooling hose screenInspect EMM and Ignition groundingVerify spark plug is NGK PZFR6HCheck capacitor operationVerify PLANETt resonators are secured and gear clamps are tightClean solenoid injectorInspect hoses for holes, signs of melting, cracking, etc
Remove water injection hose from top of pipeClean and repair any broken or loose connectionsCheck for proper gap and electrode integrityWR45v circuit should "bleed" down slowly after engine quits runningUse PODIAGENGINE MONITORINGObtain known-good EMMAttach and 12 pin harnesses from boat to test EMMUse ENGINE MONITORING screen and run engineRun engine at 3000 RPM while dropping each cylinder
Inspect orifice size and clean screen
