Maintenance Gasoline Safety
WARNING

Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive under certain conditions Always exercise extreme caution whenever handling gasoline Always refuel with the engine stopped and outdoors or in well ventilated areaDo not smoke or allow open flames or sparks in or near the area where refueling is performed or where gasoline is storedDo not over fill the tank(Do not fill the tank neck If you get gasoline on your skin or clothing, immediately wash it off with soap and water and change clothingNever start the engine or let it run in an enclosed areaGasoline powered engine exhaust fumes are poisonous and can cause loss of consciousness and death in short timeShut off fuel valve (if applicable) whenever the watercraft is stored, parked, or transported
FuelWater Separator
The fuelwater separator should be checked daily andor whenever refueling1-2 (2.5-5 cm) of water depth in water trap can cause the engine to run poorly due to restricted fuel flowIf water trap fills quickly, check for water in the fuel tank
