Maintenance Fuel SystemContinued Fuel LinesVent Lines
1Check fuel lines and vent lines for signs of wear, deterioration, damage or leakageReplace if necessaryEnsure that clamps are tight2Be sure all lines are routed properly and secured with cable ties away from any moving partsCAUTION: Make sure lines are not kinked or pinched
Fuel Filter
The fuel filter should be replaced annually or whenever sediment is visible in the filter1Loosen line clamps at both ends of filter2Remove fuel lines from filter3Install new filter with arrow pointed in direction of fuel flow4Re-install and tighten clamps on fuel line5Start engine and inspect for leaksCAUTION: Never operate the engine for more than 15 seconds without cooling waterSevere engine damage may occur from overheating
