The Polaris Multi-Function Instrument (MFI) simultaneously displays great deal of important vehicle information such as speed, RPM, fuel and oil levels, clock, compass heading, engine hours, and warning conditionsAdditionally, the MFI acts as command center for security and speed limit functions and interfaces to an optional depth sensor to provide built in digital depth gauge
DISPLAY SUMMARY
The MFI is configured with Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) on the left, functionnumeric keypad in the center, and an electronically driven analog speedometer and reverse (PERC 1M) indicator on the rightThe LCD contains highly responsive analog tachometer, fuel and oil gauges, 16-point compass, clock, battery voltmeter, resettable distance meter, and non-volatile engine hour meterTo the right and under the fuel and oil gauges, is digital depth gauge, which automatically activates if the optional depth sensor is installedThe bottom row of alphanumeric characters is versatile display that normally displays battery voltage, distance traveled, and engine hoursThese displays will be overwritten in the event of warning condition, or if an optional function is selected, such as security lock, speed limit, or real time digital display
