HullControl Systems Steering Cable Replacement
1Disconnect cable at steering arm and at steering nozzle by removing bolt, nut, and washerLoosen jam nut and unscrew tie rod endsRemove sealing nut at pump end of cable
Remove Nut Push cable -to rear
Pull cable out of hull making note of cable routingRoute new cable around left hand side of engine and batteryAfter passing cable through threaded fittingSeal the cable, nuts and washers with Marine Grade silicone sealantTighten nuts to proper torqueRefer to pages 6.5-6.6 for torque specifications
