"' Remove steering cover (handlebar pad) by loosening the screws located on underside of pad2Spread bottom of cover apart and lift it up and rearwardNote throttle cable and switch wire routing for reassemblyIf handlebar is to be replaced, remove screws on throttle blockRemove throttle lever pin, and disconnect throttle cableRemove the stop switch and set it asideCarefully pull wire harnesses, and throttle cable through steering postRemove (4) bolts on handlebar clamp and remove handlebarRemove shroud, if applicableFront shroud bolts are accessed underneath glove box padDisconnect MFI from harness and pitot lineRemove (4) bolts on steering housingSlide steering column up and out of the support hubReverse procedure for reassemblyGrease column bushings with lithium-based grease4567
