8With the exhaust pipe bolts loosened, proceed with removing the exhaust pipe mounting bolts9Remove the water outlet hose from the exhaust pipe10Slide exhaust pipe rearward and out of the watercraft to access the exhaust manifold bolts11Remove the exhaust manifold bolts12Remove the exhaust manifold13Before installing exhaust system, refer to the inspection and troubleshooting section in this chapter

Installation of the exhaust system is the reverse of removalDuring installation, follow these guidelines: Always use new gasketsApply Ultra Copper Silicone 1M, PN 2872637, to exhaust manifold-to-engine mating surfacesSee III1Torque bolts and worm gear clamps to specifications outlined on page 4.46Verify that all coolant hoses are securely attached and not kinkedAfter installation, check for any exhaust leaksIf problems with exhaust system are suspected, refer to troubleshooting section in this chapter
