3Inspect passage sealing a-ring and replace if worn or damagedThe flat side of the a-ring faces the pump cover, (Away from cover)
4Remove accelerator pump components including
spring, diaphragm, dust boot, and a-ring
5Check the guide bushing in pump body and replace front
carburetor jet block assembly if wornThe bushing is not replaceable
6Remove metering diaphragm cover and check to make
sure the atmospheric vent is clearInspect diaphragm for signs of hardening, stretched or weak areas, holes, or tears
