2Open the electrical box and check for correct connections between the stator, COlcoils, and terminal boardInspect the wiring for incorrect connections or physical damage aDisconnect the stator from the electrical box (within the electrical box)bConnect the negative test lead of the ohm meter to the black wire coming from the stator and leave it connected for the duration of test 2cConnect the positive test lead to an engine ground
