NOTE: Seals, bearings, and O-rings should be replaced if removedHeat the impeller housing evenly with heat gun to ease removal of bearings in next stepRemove tail cone O-ring before applying heat To ease installationwrap bearings in wax paper and chill in freezer for 30 minutes or longerWarm the impeller housing evenly with heat gun or propane torchDO NOT OVERHEATPress or drive bottom bearing into place until it bottoms against the shoulder in the pump housingApply grease to center bearing spacer and installVerify that bearing spacer is centered, and install second bearingCAUTION: I
Do not drive on the inner raceBearing damage will resultDrive on outer race only2Place impeller spacer onto inner race of front bearingApply marine grease to seal lips and also between the two sealsInstall two new oil seals over impeller spacer with lips up and visible (toward impeller)Press seals to bottom of chamfer on seal bore (about 18"132 cm beyond end of bore)
