3Liberally grease the driveshaft, driveshaft splinesand O- ringInsert driveshaft into thru-hull fittingVerify th at the correct bumpers are installed on driveshaft ends and in good condition 4Slide bearing carrier hose over thru-hull fitting Grease bearing carrier sealsand insert carrier into hoseNOTE: Use extreme care when inserting driveshaft th rough bearing caring Do not fold seal lips overHave an assistant hold bearing carrier while inserting driveshaft
5Insert driveshaft into couplerTighten bearing carrier worm gear clamps to specified torque
