DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE FFI Diagnostics Testing Ignition System
NOTE: Do not start the engine during any static testDoing so will cause erratic operation until you shut off the engineType "2" and press the "ENTER" key to test the ignition systemThe computer will now prompt you to install spark checker onto the high tension leadsAfter installing the spark checker, press any key to advance to the next screenIf spark checker is not available, timing light may be substitutedKeep high tension leads on spark plugs and connect timing light to leadThe light will flash when electricity passes through leadDo not look directly at timing light or eye damage may occur
Remove all spark plug leads and connect them to spark tester set at air gap specified in the service manual
