Sponson RemovalInstallation
Sponsons are secured to the hull with (6) screws per sideNew screws come with locking agent appliedIf screws are re-used, apply Loctite 242 (Blue)Assemble the sponsons as shown at rightTorque screws to 48 inIbs(5.5 Nm)Inspect condition of rubber sealing washer and replace if missing or damaged
Foot Pad Replacement
1Remove old pads2Use Goo-Gone to remove old adhesive from the deckIf scraping is required, only use soft plastic material3Remove Goo-Gone residue with mild detergent soap4Wipe surface with acetoneAllow acetone to completely dry5Remove backing from new foot well pad and immediately apply to the deck6Work the pad with your fingertips until the entire pad is pressed onto the deck surfaceConstant pressure activates the adhesive and works any air bubbles out from under the pad7Allow for 24 hours to cure1M 1M
