8Remove thrust spring and plastic' bushing from starter drive bushing in coverReplace spring and bushing if worn
9Remove flywheel nut and washer using flywheel holder toolInstall puller and remove flywheelInspect flywheel key and keyway in flywheel for damage
Do not thread the puller bolts into the flywheel more than 38" (.95 cm) or stator damage may resultDo not tighten the flywheel puller against the magnet holder screws or damage to the screws or magnet holder may result
