27Note position of main, mid-range and transfer jets(where applicable), and idle jets in jet blockRemoval is not necessary for cleaningInspect each jet for residue, varnish, or corrosionReplace jets if build up of varnish, residue, or corrosion is presentNOTE: Even small amount of residue will reduce the flow characteristics of the jetBe sure jet is thoroughly cleaned or replace if corroded or questionable
28Note position of limiter caps low speed mixture screwsCarefully remove the caps (pull off)Turn each mixture screw in (clockwise) while counting the exact number of turns until lightly seatedRecord the number for future referenceCarefully inspect the tip of each needle for wear or damageReplace if necessary
